The pop up rear window give you a lot of flexability to carry long objects without having to tie them down on the roof rack. After over one year of ownership, the best gas milelage that I have seen was on the road at 28 MPG when the engine automatically moves to the ECO mode and runs on three cylinders. I am averaging 18.4 miles overall. The front wheel drive is excellent in the snow. Honda's bluetooth works poorly with bad reception. This is my second Honda Pilot. I still own my first with 118,000 miles that has requred not major repairs and still runs great. This SUV really keeps its value."
